Its been a busy week for showing off the garden and processing veggies! We had a great turnout for the garden tour on September 14 and are so grateful for the organizers and press we received around it. As a result we’ve already seen more community volunteers visiting and working with us as we wrap up the 2014 gardening season.

Thanks too to Mel in the Morning (and Cy) pictured here for letting us talk for a little while about the garden and the Sustainable Agriculture Student Association’s work with FAF.
AND kudos to our team on September 20th who helped us pick and process another 20 bags of veggies- we are super appreciative of Mustard Seed for the extra donations and we will be sure to put the produce to great use in future meals. To date SASA has processed more than 70 bags of frozen produce with vegetables from our garden, Mustard Seed Community Farm, Table Top Farm and the Student Organic Farm.
