What a lovely and unseasonably warm day we had out at the FAF Garden. Thanks to Trinity Church for the beautiful new sign (see the picture below). We had a smallish but committed group and we spread straw (to keep some of our plants warmer as the season gets colder), cut back berries, took out tomato plants, harvested plenty of yummy food for distribution and cleaned up the garlic (look at the gorgeous picture of our garlic bulbs below) and enjoyed a tasty picnic on the grass. What a day. We will still have another day to plant garlic and there are still some things to harvest so stay on the lookout for future workdays or email foodatfirstgarden if you want more info.
