Food at First needs a LOT OF VOLUNTEERS to pull this off every year, so please mark your calendar for this Sun Aug 13.

See you at 706 Clark (Chris’s house) Corn picking shift meets at 8AM sharp, Sun AM at 706 Clark to carpool and pick corn from the field (bring gloves, long sleeves, long pants, eye protections if u have them), or 12:30pm for the 1st corn processing shift, or 4pm for the 2nd processing shift. Yep, it will last all day so anytime you can spare will be appreciated.

FAF has an awesome tradition of picking and processing the worlds best sweet corn every summer. Pick, process and freeze a TON of corn so FAF has fresh Iowa sweet corn for Food at First meals all winter and spring.
