34th Food At First Community-wide THANKSGIVING MEAL was Thursday November 25, 2021 11:30 am – 1 pm

Over 500 meals were made carry-out style by lots and lots of volunteers

Location: 611 Clark, First Christian Church, Ames, IA (across from Ames Police Station). CURBSIDE CARRY OUT ONLY, NO DINE-IN, Face masks required for all patrons outside and all volunteers inside at all times.

Important Coronavirus instructions for volunteers

Every volunteer needs to have their own FAF account and be signed up. With Covid-19 safety and distancing limits, FAF is not allowing any extra people in the building, so please absolutely do not bring extra family members that are not signed up. Thank you for understanding in this difficult time, and thank you for volunteering!!

Thanksgiving in 2021 will involve no indoor seating, only carryout. The message has not changed: Food at First is Thankful for its many volunteers today and every day, the many donations and gifts, the thousands of hours of dedication, and all the people that FAF is able to help make a brighter day. So much to be thankful for in 2021!
