Friday, April 7, 2023 at 6:15 pm, Food At First, FAF, celebrated its 20th Birthday! At 611 Clark Avenue, Ames, IA, use the west entrance and help us celebrate as we blow out 20 candles on a very large cake.
For 20 years, Food at First has been providing hot meals to those that need them. In the beginning, there was a meal one day per week. Now, Food at First has grown to provide a hot meal every day, 365 days each year. Plus, a free market three times per week and provides fresh produce, frozen meat, bread, and a variety of other items gleaned from area grocery stores, restaurants, ISU, and other sources.
